The pre-trade checklist:5 questions, every trade.

A trading checklist stops the trades you should not take. 5 questions, 30 seconds, before every entry.

If 1 answer is no, the trade waits.

The pre-trade checklistThe bias agrees with my directionI know the next event and its timePositioning does not fight meI have a level where I am wrongMy size fits the risk plan5 yeses, or no trade.

The 5 questions

Does the bias agree? Do I know the next event? Does positioning fight me? Where am I wrong? Does my size fit my risk plan?

Why it works

Most bad trades are not bad analysis. They are skipped steps. The checklist catches them before they cost money.

Use it in real trading

The tool informs the decision, it never makes it. Here is how it plays out on real trading days.

1
All yes

EURUSD short: bias bearish, CPI tomorrow, retail long, stop above the level, 0.5% risk. You take it.

2
1 no

Gold long looks good, but you do not know where you are wrong. You find the level first.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Running it after the entry.
  • Skipping it on "obvious" trades.
  • Answering "kind of".

What makes it different

Every answer is 1 click away in the terminal: bias, calendar, positioning and your plan.

Questions

How long does it take?

About 30 seconds.

What if 1 answer is no?

Then the trade waits until it is a yes.

Can I add questions?

Yes, but keep it short.
