Watchlist: a listthat stays short.

A forex watchlist is only useful if it is short. 20 markets on a list means you watch none of them properly.

In Prime Terminal, every market on your watchlist carries its bias, its reason and its next event, so the list tells you what to do, not just what to look at.

What goes on it

The 3 to 5 markets from your Sunday analysis. Each one needs a bias, a reason and a catalyst. No reason, no place on the list.

How to keep it clean

When a reason breaks, the market leaves the list. When the Overview List shows a new clear setup, it can come in. Change it on Sunday, not every hour.

Use it in real trading

The tool informs the decision, it never makes it. Here is how it plays out on real trading days.

1
Focus

Your list has 3 markets. On a busy day, you only read the headlines for those 3.

2
Discipline

Gold goes neutral. It stays on the list as a watch, not a trade, until the bias is clear.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Adding every market that moved.
  • Keeping markets without a reason.
  • Changing the list every day.

What makes it different

The watchlist pulls the bias and the next event in automatically, so it stays connected to the context.
